And right now, we’re looking for a Contract Standards Manager. Based at our Capenhurst OR Stoke Poges site you’ll ensure adequate and consistent standards in project contract management in Urenco’s project portfolio. The Contract Standards Manager’ remit includes the proficient application of standards and responsibility for the governance and assurance of those standards.

The role will ensure Urenco’s commercial position is robustly protected through the application of good industry practice and continuous improvement.

What will your day look like?

  • Accountability for the contract management standards
  • Ensure alignment between the business objectives and the contract management standards
  • Ensure alignment between contractual requirements and contract management standards
  • Active participation in assurance reviews
  • Integrate with various Group Project and Shared Services functions
  • Ensure Urenco’s commercial position is robustly protected and improved through the application of industry good practice in contract management

What do you need to be great at this role?

  • Educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Law)
  • Project Management  or Contract Management Qualification / Accreditation such as CIPS, IACCM, APM, PMI, AACE or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of contract management
  • Experience in a number of diverse industries
  • Demonstrable experience working within the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to hand-over
  • Experience working for a client organisation operating
