Civil Site Manager

Morson have a long term contract opportunity for a Civil Site Manager who has experience within the Transmission / distribution power industry. Excellent career development opportunity working for sites across Central Scotland.

Working as part of a team who are responsible for the construction of new build, replacement, refurbishment major transmission projects. The site manager will be responsible for delivering projects and is the primary on-site representative.

Duties will include
Proactively monitor and manage contractors programmes in line with the overall project programme
Safe implementation of the role of principal contractor in line with CDM 2015
Co-ordinate all site activities and review of all pre-task planning
Ensure compliance of all site environmental legislation and monitor all agreed mitigation
Ensure compliance with all quality standards with a particular focus on monitoring of the works using both the clients and contractors inspection and testing regime.

Candidates should have
Ability to understand civil / structural design drawings and all inspection and testing
Contract Management knowledge, awareness of NEC conditions of contract
Site Management Experience
Understand CDM 2015 regs
Civil Engineering qualifications or site experience in managing transmission construction projects
SMSTS
SP Authorisations would be preferred but not essential as long as willing to get
First Aid
